

Regina G. Ayala (Nena) aged 89, died peacefully on March 26, 2015, at home, in El Paso, Texas, after an endless struggle with dementia. Regina was born March 15, 1926, in Colonia Dublan, Chihuahua, Mexico.
Regina thoroughly enjoyed gardening, sewing, and serving anyone that came into her life. She was a leader and worked earnestly with Project Bravo, to re-locate residents in the Cordova Americas International Bridge extension project. In 1974, Regina ensued her studies at California State Polytechnic University, following an entrepreneurship as a florist, opening Arnnette’s Flowers in 1976, in El Paso, Texas.
Preceded in death by her husband Alfredo F. Ayala, son, Roberto Ayala, daughter, Regina Ofelia, parents, Manrique R. Gonzalez and Regina del Palacio Gonzalez and sister, Lilia G Brown.
Survivors, son, Arnulfo G. Ayala, (Connie) Nicholasville, Kentucky, daughter, Martha Armendariz (Roberto), El Paso, Texas, son, Alfredo Ayala, Jr., (Soila) Bluffton, SC, and daughter, Belinda Ayala (El Paso, Texas). 22 Grandchildren, 25 Great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, Dr. Ernest Gonzalez, brother, Elvira Avena, sister, Catalina Thompson, sister and Roberto Gonzalez, brother, nieces, nephews and other relatives and close friends.
Regina was a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Third Ward.
There will be a private family service on Monday, March 30, 2015, from 4:00 – 6:00, followed by a Memorial Service and viewing, for the public, from 7:00-9 pm. at Harding Orr & McDaniel.
Funeral Service: March 31, 2015 at 10:00 AM, 1212 Sumac Drive, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, followed by graveside service Evergreen East Cemetery. —–
