Remigia Perez (Reyes Keehu) was born in Naguabo, Puerto Rico on October 1, 1928. She was the third oldest child of eight brothers and sisters born to Jesus Perez and Carmen Reyes Perez. Remi received her Angel Wings on November 11, 2023 at the amazing age of 95.
Remi met the Love of Her Life, SMSGT Ioane Keehu, USAF while working in a Long Island, New York, nursing facility. They married on February 16, 1952, and announced the birth of their first son, Ioane Jr., on November 18, 1952. Their second son, Robert Pualii (Bob) was born two years later. Remi was a devoted wife and mother and worked as a certified Nurse’s Aide for many years. She was a member of the Seven Day Adventist church and volunteered in the community. Remi suffered from numerous health conditions for many years and believed she was ready for when God called her home; she now has no aches or pains. Remi will be extremely missed by her family and friends. Surviving Her are her son Bob, daughters-in-law Olga Keehu and Cathy Keehu, seven grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
