Born in Chicago on February 21, 1947, Ken lived a life defined by passion, principle, and purpose. After proudly serving his country as a Navy medic during the Vietnam War, he carried the values of courage and commitment into every chapter of his life.
For decades, Ken was a force in the courtroom—a dynamic and fearless criminal defense attorney known for his fierce advocacy and quick wit. His booming voice, sharp mind, and commanding presence made him a formidable figure, but those who knew him best understood that his true strength came from his deep sense of conviction.
A lover of history and an animated storyteller, Ken could captivate a room with tales from the past and moments from his own remarkable life. He was an avid reader who never stopped learning, a man whose curiosity and intellect were matched only by his love for his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Susan; his six children, Daniel, Chris, Kenny, Kevin, Esteban, and Kim; eleven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. His family will forever remember his humor, wisdom, and the warmth that filled every gathering.
Ken’s life was one of courage, conviction, and love—qualities that will live on in those he so deeply influenced.
