Rene Aguilar Rene Aguilar, 56, passed away peacefully on January 29th, 2025 after a brave medical battle. Rene was born in Lubbock, Texas on January 9th, 1969 to Minerva Hernandez and the late Ramiro Aguilar. Rene graduated from his beloved Texas Tech University in 1998 with a Bachelors in Architecture. However, Rene’s biggest accomplishments are his three wonderful sons Rene, Noah and Andrew that he had with his loving wife Priscilla of 26 years. Rene is survived by his wife, Priscilla, sons Rene, Noah, and Andrew. His mother Minerva, stepdad Pete, his brother‘s Ronnie, Pete, and Chris and his sisters Lisa and Mandi and many nieces and nephews. Rene was known for his love of Tech, metal bands, soccer and fast cars. His sense of humor and quick witted jokes will be greatly missed.
Funeral Thursday, February 6, 2025 at 11am. Hillcrest Funeral Home 1060 N. Carolina EP, TX 79915. Interment to follow immediately at Mt Carmel Cemetery 401 S Zaragoza.
