

It is with deep and heavy sadness that we announce the death of Ricardo Adauto Jr., 83, who passed on August 16, 2016 at home with family at his side. He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Maria Villegas Adauto; his son Ricardo III and daughter in law Patricia; two grandsons Francisco (Amanda) and Daniel Garcia; his brothers Javier (Rosie) and Gilbert; and sisters Armida McDonald, Alicia (Hector) Romero, and Ana Ortega. He was preceded in death by his parents Ricardo and Evangelina, and brother Armando; and his in-laws Hermenegildo and Guadalupe Villegas. He retired as a highly regarded diagnostician, teacher and principal with the El Paso Independent School District. Visitation will be held on August 19, 2016 at 9:00 a.m., and be immediately followed by a rosary and mass at Saint Francis Xavier Church, 519 S. Latta. Interment at Mount Carmel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the UTEP Scholarship Fund, El Paso, Texas, 79968. “Never will you meet a man who more faithfully lived his values. He was a teacher of all things. His method was simple, he taught by example. He was strong in body, in spirit and in commitment. He fulfilled every obligation he ever undertook. He was a wonderful man that was loved, is missed, and will be cherished.”
