We were so happy to visit with our uncle & chat with him before his passing.  Our dad so loved his brother and so looked forward to the yearly hunting trips. Tio Ricardo had a personality larger than life and lived life joyfully & fully. Our hearts ache with sadness for our cousins & aunt, yet  we know our uncle is dancing with the angels now. Peace to all.

Uncle Richard, he was a social butterfly when it came to family. If was able to visit he came . I have many memories,  of Aunt Bertha and Uncle Richard visiting Fontana and staying at Aunt Jenny's house. When we heard Family from TX , we came : my parents ( Robert and Margie )and me (Claudia ). I was usually the driver after hours of , drinking, music ( Mariachis , guitar playing uncles in Fontana), and home cooked Mexican food and stories of family adventures) . I was lucky to have uncle Richard in  a good portion of my life. He had so much wisdom and advice.  He was very truthful and honest. His kids were so lucky and he loved his grandkids , b/c he shared stories when  he visited Fontana,  CA. I will always remember him as the Tall , Mexican with a Black Cowboy Hat and Boots  and Dressed to Impress. I was lucky to have seen him one last time in Fontana at my cousin's  Lulu Wedding Anniversary !! And you guessed correctly
I was the driver...LOL
It was worth it , because you never know when it's going to be the last time your going to see family. Uncle Richard always had time to be present for his family !
He will definitely be missed by everyone  who loved him.  He has no more pain and he is with his family in heaven
