Ricardo Martinez II

Ricardo Martinez II, passed away on June 13, 2026 at the age of 28.

Ricky was born in El Paso, Texas on April 9, 1998. He attended both Horizon Heights Elementary School and Dr. Sue Shook Elementary School. He attended Col. John O. Ensor Middle School, and graduated from Eastlake High School in 2016.

He worked with Rhino Staging and Champion Store Fixture Installers. These two amazing companies allowed him to begin traveling in a way he wouldn’t have otherwise. Wherever he ended up, he embraced the world around him, all the while building a forever community amongst the people he worked with.

He taught us to “love everyone, serve everyone, remember God, and tell the truth.” He showered on all who came into His presence, as well as those who never met Him in the body, but established a connection to Him beyond the physical plane.

Ricky is survived by his parents, Ricardo and Diana; his siblings, Stephanie and Ryan Martinez; and Stephanie’s husband, John Greening, or as Ricky named him, John in Law. He will be received in heaven by his Grandma LaLa, Alicia C. Martinez, and his Daddy Grandpa, Raul Ladislao Quiroz; one aunt, two uncles, and a cousin.

Ricky will be greatly missed from his Ninos, aunts, uncles, cousins, and the many friends he’s made along the way. We will continue to live our lives with the best advice he could give us,

A memorial service will be held at Martin Funeral Home East, 1460 George Dieter Drive, El Paso, TX 79936, US, on June 19, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

A rosary will be held at Martin Funeral Home East, 1460 George Dieter Drive, El Paso, TX 79936, US, on June 19, 2026 from 12:00 PM - 12:45 PM.
