Robert Paul Becker, passed away Wednesday, September 3rd, 2025, at the age of 62. Robert (Bob/Bobby) was a beloved son, brother, uncle, godfather, cousin, nephew and friend. He was a longtime resident of El Paso, Texas.
Robert Becker was born to loving parents John Werner Becker and Cora Martha Becker.
Bob was known for his welcoming manner, compassion and his quirky sense of humor that kept everyone laughing.
Bob had a heart for service. He loved helping others. He possessed a special gift for working with the mentally ill, and while living in New York, he found purpose in managing a group home. Bob’s heart would often lead him to visit nursing homes to spend time with elderly residents. It was not his job; it was his joy.
Robert Paul Becker was preceded in death by his father, John, and leaves behind his mother Cora, five brothers, five sisters, and a host of nieces and nephews. Bob will be mourned and deeply missed, but above all, he will continue to be loved and celebrated in the minds and hearts of those who contributed words, phrases, or paragraphs to each chapter of his life’s journal.
Bob’s family would like to thank those who loved and cared for him during his years of illness. The family expresses its gratitude to everyone who holds Bob and his loved ones in your hearts and prayers and asks that you continue to remember him with loving thoughts and actions.
