El Paso, TX — Robert Lozano, a lifelong resident of El Paso, entered eternal rest on September 8, 2026, following a brave battle with cancer. He was 67 years old. Robert grew up in Central El Paso where he met his best friend, Gilbert Guerrero. He attended Alta Vista School and graduated from Austin High School in 1976. Known for his strong work ethic and integrity, he founded multiple businesses, including Keep It Clean Services and Lozano Real Estate Group, which celebrated 14 years of business in April 2026. A dedicated community leader, Robert actively served with the El Paso Downtown Lions Club, the Knights of Columbus, and as President of the Women’s Council of Realtors. Above all, he was a devoted father who never missed a recital, game, or performance. His grandson, EJ, also brought him tremendous joy. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Rosa M. Lozano; mother-in-law Guadalupe Gonzalez; sister Mary Isabel Crowe; cousin Mary Betancourt (Ted); children Jeanette Lozano (Laura), Patrick Lee Lozano, Valerie Lozano, and Sgt. Robert Steven Lozano; and grandson Edward James Lozano Petersen. He was preceded in death by his mother, Esther Valenzuela Lopez; stepfather Ysabel "Chavelo" Lopez; brother Richard Valenzuela (Mary); sister Raquel Torres; uncle Arturo Federico; aunt Vera Rodriguez; cousin Estella Porras; niece Stacey Michelle Betancourt; and father-in-law Alfredo Gonzalez. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to friends and loved ones who visited and sent their prayers of support for his health and well-being, and to Faith Hospice (Rosalba and Gaby), Dr. Vallilis, and the medical team at MD Anderson for their care and support. We will remember him daily: whenever we travel, eat a hearty, satisfying meal, listen to 70s and 80s rock and roll, and watch a beautiful sunrise or sunset. We hope you are enjoying a family reunion in heaven; we love you forever.
