Dan lived a very charmed adventurous life. His paternal Grandparents owned the farm the battle of Pea Ridge occurred on. His father was a Dentist in Bentonville and owned the first x-ray machine in the state. Dan joined the Army after high school and fought in the Korean War. Upon returning he also spent some time serving in the Air Force. He spent two years serving as a Dallas policeman. He moved to El Paso and worked at White Sands Missile Range.
Dan inherited his father's passion for shooting. He shot rabbit for profit during the depression and went on many hunting trips with his father in Colorado. Dan loved to shoot, especially skeet.
Dan married the love of his life Barbara Lawson on September 12, 1953, from Bentonville Arkansas. They had no children. Dan loved bicycles and rode his bike everywhere.
Dan loved serving his savior and is known for his service to the Jesus he loved. He attended faithfully, lead worship, taught Sunday school and helped in VBS and Awana. He had a beautiful tenor voice and loved.

Dan loved everyone, especially children. He wrote two books. A children's book "Freddy the flea" and an adult book "Accidental Cop".
Dan lived his last 6 years with Dr. Jarek and Nancy Aniszewska and their daughters Janina and Marianna Aniszewska. He was loved tremendously.
