I don't have the right words to say how mush this man means to me. He was always there for us kids and the as we became adults he was still there. I set here tonight and thank of all the advice he gave me and my wife Debra . Love you Brother Bob you well be missed by so meany but never forgotten.

Heaven is going to be so sweet when we all get there. Going to miss you Bro. Bob. But know you are happier there. Love you ....

Bob Stewart was a humble servant of the Most High God, no pretense, just the real thing.  He touched countless lives all because he and his wife stepped out in faith and started a small church in their house in the 1950's.  My husband and I didn't come to know him until 2004.  He sure will be missed but we rejoice that he is home with the Lord, no more pain and suffering.

We Lived in El Paso, Texas for Only One Year  From 1976 To Mid 1977. My Wife's Brother, Ray & Geri Redmon are  Missionaries To South Korea.   Hillcrest Baptist Church With  Pastor Bob Steward is their  sending Church. We visited Hillcrest and moved our membership To Hillcrest Because The Word Of God Was being Preached & Taught. Jesus' Great Commission was Centerpoint of  Hillcrest, To Place All your Faith and Trust In Jesus, Repent, Confess Your Need Of Salvation, Publicly Profess Your Total Belief That ONLY Through and By Jesus' Sacrifice On the Cross As The Perfect Gift Of Love From God,His Son Jesus Christ, The Sinless, Without Blemish "Lamb Of God" Will Give You Eternal Peace In Heaven. Pastor Bob Stewart Founded Hillcrest more Than Fifty Years Ago On Bible Preaching And Bible Teaching Fundamentals. We Do  Highly Recommend Hillcrest Baptist Church When Looking For A Church Home Teaching Gods Truth. We Loved This Church and This Pastor, Brother Bob Stewart. It's been many, many years since we first started attending Hillcrest Baptist Church.  I'll never forget the invitation to come to the altar - if just to bend and pray for a few moments.  I remember my mother taking us in the 1970s.  Brother Bob blessed us in many ways.  Thank you for being there when we were weak and needed your hand and words to show us the way to the light of the world.  You words touched so many through the years and showed us the love of Jesus Christ and the love God had for all of His children.  We need your type of ministry in today's times.  Brother Bob you will be missed by many whose lives you touched.

We will all miss this great Man of God.  God used him to plant a powerhouse church where he served all of his life touching lives for the cause of Christ both in El Paso, Texas, and around the world.

Brother Stewart inspired many young men to dedicate their lives to the Lord's service, and as a result many preach the glorious gospel of Christ all around the world.  

Everywhere he went, he encouraged young preachers.  I am one of them.  Thank you Brother Stewart, and we'll see you soon!

My name is Mitch McDonald and I was shocked to learn that Bob Stewart passed away and it gave me goosebump when I found out the new.  However, I can sense that Bob Steward is rejoicing in heaven.  I do remember when I was a kid and attend his church at Hillcrest Baptist Church and I always sit in the front row because I just love the way Bob Stewart preach.  Every time when He preaches...He always pounding on the Bible because he trying to emphasize the Bible is telling the truth.  One thing that He really inspires me when He pounding the bible and occasionally mention, I'm ready to go to heaven...but are you"? (happy tear)  

Thank you Bob for preaching the word of God and you have reach lot of people's soul.  God Bless you..

Bro. Bob Stewart was a great Pastor with a warm heart, big smile and he was my friend. We last met him May 5, 2016 at the celebration of life for Bro. Dan Tidwell in Bartlesville, OK.  He & Wanda spent several evenings with us around the dinner table when he would come up to preach at BBT.  On one such occasion he purchased a dark yellow 1976 4 door hardtop Chrysler Imperial from us & drove it back to El Paso.  A few years later while visiting in Crescent, OK I saw a young lady putting gas in a similar car & inquired about it.  She was his daughter & it was the same car.  He told me later that he had it restored.  He was special & will be missed.
