Roberto Duron

Roberto was a devoted husband to Celia Durón for 59 years and a loving father to Robert (wife Rhonda) and Daniel (wife Tanya ) Durón. He cherished his role as a grandfather to Daniel Jr., Andrew, Camden, Angela, Alyssa, Grayson, and Matthew Durón, each of whom held a special place in his heart. He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Nomi, whose memories he carried with him every day.

Known for his infectious smile, generous spirit, and love for bringing people together, Roberto’s home was always a welcoming place filled with music, laughter, and good times. He was passionate about jazz music, his yard, home and hosting parties with his friends every weekend with a Jack and Coke in his hand. His devotion and admiration, made his family and friends feel whole, and will forever leave a lasting impression.

As a grandfather, Roberto showed unmatched patience, whether teaching his grandchildren how to plant grass or helping them learn to ride a bike. He never rushed them, allowing them to learn at their own pace while offering quiet encouragement and a steady hand. His legacy of love, kindness, and wisdom will forever be cherished by those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Roberto’s strength and generosity extended to everyone he encountered. He was a steady source of support for his family, a loyal friend, and a man whose humor and kindness will be missed. His family will forever carry his spirit with them, cherishing the memories they created together.

Rest in peace, Roberto. Your love for friends and family, pride in your home, and your generous spirit will continue to echo in our hearts forever.

A chapel service will occur Monday, February 17, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 1460 George Dieter Dr, El Paso, Texas 79936. A graveside service will occur Monday, February 17, 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at External Service Location, 12400 Montana Ave, El Paso, TX 79938.
