Rodney was born on March 04, 1957 in Hilo, Hawaii to Carolina and Rufino Francisco. He was raised by Carolina Bufil and Edward Bufil Sr. in Honomu, Hawaii. Rodney graduated from Hilo High School and then served in the US Army from June 30, 1978 to October 31, 1995. He served in the Vietnam War and later retired with an honorable discharge, as Sergeant First Class. Rodney attended Park University and received his bachelor’s degree in human resources. After his years of service and education, he worked in the Department of Veterans Affairs where he left a lasting impact.
Rodney was a loving husband to Lucy Francisco and a nurturing father to Eva Ocean, Renee McCorkle, Rodney Enad, Nicole Evans, Yesika Rivas, Yasmin Francisco, and Yarizza Francisco. He leaves behind 7 grandchildren and is also survived by his sisters, Stephanie Francisco, Wendy Wisneiski, and Tanya Pataray, along with his brother Edward Bufil all of Hawaii. Rodney is preceded in death by his parents Carolina and Edward Bufil, and Rufino and Theresa Francisco, along with his brother Alvin Francisco (Deseased) Edward Bufil of Hawaii. Rodney loved spending time with his friends and family and leaves behind beautiful memories filled with love and laughter. You will forever be missed and will always be in our hearts. We love you.
A visitation for Rodney will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home, 128 North Resler Drive, El Paso, TX 79912
