He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Amparo Y. Marquez as well as his parents, Salvador Marquez and Catalina Huerta Marquez. He is also preceded in death by his son, Rodolfo Marquez Jr.
Rodolfo leaves behind two sons, Daniel Marquez and Raymond Ybarra and four daughters, Maria D. Gil, Irene Gonzalez, Teresa E. Petersen and Esperanza Dominguez. He also leaves behind eighteen grandchildren, twenty great grand-children and three great-great-grandchildren. He joins his two brothers and three sisters in passing. Among his surviving family, he is also survived by two sister, Dora Navarro and Margarita Guzman. He will be dearly missed.
A visitation for Rodolfo will be held Wednesday, June 7, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 North Carolina Drive, El Paso, TX 79915. A rosary will occur Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at 6:00 PM, 1060 North Carolina Drive, El Paso, TX 79915. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, June 8, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Little Flower Catholic Church, 171 Polo Inn Rd, El Paso, Texas 79915. A graveside service will occur Thursday, June 8, 2023 at 2:30 PM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, Fort Bliss, Texas 79906.
