Rogelio A. Lara

Rogelio A. Lara, age 75, of El Paso, Texas passed away on Friday May 22, 2020. Rogelio was born September of 1944 in El Paso, Texas to Liboria and Anacleto Lara.

Rogelio loved animals. He worked as a horse groomer and farm hand for many years. Hard worker, loyal friend and loving brother. Rogelio is survived by his brothers Damaso, Roberto, Juan and Ediberto Lara.

Into your arms, O God, we humbly entrust a son, brother and trusted friend. In this life you embraced him with your tender love. Deliver him now from every evil and bid him enter eternal rest. The old order has passed away. Welcome him into paradise, where there will be no sorrow, no weeping, nor pain, but the fullness of peace and joy with Your Son and the Holy Spirit, forever and ever. Amen.

Rogelio was preceded in death by his parents Anacleto and Liboria Lara; brother Lorenzo Lara; brother Joaquin Lara; sister Enedina Hernandez; sister Berta Lara and sister Nelly Cliff.

Funeral Services for Rogelio will be limited to attendee's due to Covid-19 regulations. Please join the family through Hillcrest Funeral Homes West live streaming of services at 12:15 PM on Thursday May 28, 2020 through Facebook Live. Dearest Rogelio, thank you for being my dad's brother. He always talked about you and still does. I remember seeing you when I visited grandma and grandpa. Thanks for all the drawings you sent us throughout the years. I found your daughter too. Hopefully we all meet in heaven one day and smile again with the entire Lara family reunited.
