Ron is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Julie, his daughters, Rhonda Richardson (Alex) and Jessica Jenkins and son Ronald Glen Jr, his grandchildren, Rachael Lonneke (Josh), Christopher Jenkins, Jabari Richardson, Andre Manolo and Mia Sifuentes, and Ashlynne, Joshua and Tyler Jenkins.
He is also survived by his brother, Carl Jenkins and wife Linda, sisters in law Irma Prestridge and husband Max, Haydee Chavez and husband Estel and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Frances Marion Jenkins and Ruth Booth along with three other brothers and two sisters.
Ron will be remembered for his wonderful sense of family, his eternal love for his bride, Julie, and his ever so corny jokes. He was the one you called if you needed help, anywhere, anytime. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
Visitation will be on Sunday, August 15, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 North Carolina and funeral services will be on Monday at 11:00, also at Hillcrest.
Pallbearers are Ronald Glenn Jenkins, Jr., Alex Richardson, Christopher Jenkins, and Max Prestridge, junior pallbearers Manolo Andre Sifuentes, Jabari Richardson and Tyler Jenkins.
