Rose Mary Rivera

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Rosemary Rivera on August 13, 2024. Rosemary was born on April 2, 1948 to Alberto and Ana Maria Perez. A graduate of Jefferson High School in 1966. Rosemary was a Loving Wife to Arturo Rivera for 51 years, an amazing mother to her three children, Naomi Baeza (Joe), Art Rivera Jr., and Celest O’Connor (Huston), who remember her as a nurturing soul, always ready with a comforting word or an engaging story. Rosemary was the Best Mima to her 6 Grandchildren Elly Rose, Ezra Arturo, Raena Faith, Carley Ann, Hannah Marie, and Roman Elijah will carry her legacy of kindness and joy. Rosemary was an avid reader, enjoyed sewing, playing tennis, gardening and being a Grandmother. Rosemary was a devoted Catholic and had an amazing relationship with God. Predeceased by her parents and her sister Alma Enriquez, Rosemary's memory will be cherished and kept alive by her husband Arturo, her children, grandchildren, sister Martha and brother Javier, and a community that was better for her presence.

Rosary Service to honor and celebrate the life of Rosemary Rivera will be held on August 22, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home located at 1060 N . Carolina. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Raphael Catholic Church at 2301 Zanzibar Road on August 23, 2024 at 10:00 am. Rosemary will be laid to rest at Mount Carmel Catholic Cemetery at 11:30 am. The honor of pallbearer is bestowed upon her son Art Rivera Jr. Son in Laws Huston O’Connor and Joe Baeza, Sam Rodriguez, Alberto Flores, Ray Enriquez Jr. Rosemary will be profoundly missed, but her spirit will continue to guide and inspire all who were blessed to know her.
