Royal

It's been 5 years this exact day since you left to the Gates of Heaven.  I write this note to let you know we still and always will miss your presence and remember all the shared moments in life that we had together.  My children, now some in their teens grown up, still think about you very much.  My 12 year old Victoria already knew it had been 5 years today as she has this obituary link pinned on her main webpage of her computer....just an example of the profound affect you had and still have on all of us.  The laughs, the smiles and all that energy you had, is so missed. Not another soul like you brother.  We'll never forget you.

Royal, 
I knew you for a long time and you are someone I truly admired and respected. We both worked at the Union Pacific RR,
both of us were in the military, and both of us worked in law enforcement. After we went into law enforcement I had the distinction of working with you on several occasions.

Just want to say you were a great man and a great cop. It is my pleasure to have known you and my thoughts and prayers are with your family. 

Thank you for your long and honorable service to this Great Nation.

Be Thou at Peace Warrior, see you on the other side.

Royal was in my fourth grade classroom in Salem, Missouri ,many years ago. He is a student never forgotten because of his special unique personality. I can see by comments about him as a man that he remained true to that person he was at age ten. I can still see his special smile that cheered everyone around him. He was a wonderful artist. I still have a drawing or two he did for me. I am not surprised at the achievements he has made to help others. That was just the kind of person he has been since childhood. I remember if a classmate was sad or hurting or even the teacher Royal would try to help or cheer them. I feel privileged to have been his teacher for nine months. He certainly made my life better that year. It is good we will meet again in Heaven. May God strengthen and give his family peace at this time. I am so proud of my student, Royal’s, help to others in many facets of life. He has fulfilled my favorite quote I shared with students, “The great use of life is to spend it on something that will outlast it. “We are so fortunate  to have been blessed by his life. 

Royal was a great Man and great friend who had a profound impact on many lives.  It was an honor to call him My Brother.

Royal was full of life. He was a loving, caring, and wise human being. It breaks my heart you are now with our Creator but I am thankful for getting the opportunity to meet you. My deepest condolences to the McMullin family and his beautiful wife Cristina. Heaven has gained a new angel.

Brother McMullin touched so many lives. Royal and I were closer than friends and unified by a stronger bond of brothers. I am reminded of the time Jesus wept at the tomb of Lazarus. Our heavenly Father is stricken with grief when he knows that his children are sad. Our actions resonate louder than words. Royal was a man that showed deference to all. I am comforted to know that he is in the celestial place where only the virtuous men inhabit.

I wish that this was all a dream that we can wake up from. Uncle Royal you touched the lives of many people. There was never a day that you wouldn't carry a smile. Frankie and I miss you very very much, but I know you're looking after every person you love. I want to thank you for loving my aunt the way you did, a love so unique that no one can replace you. Rest easy.

I met one of my favorite co-workers in the lab at WBAMC Cristina. She seemed so stressed all the time but mostly sad. I couldn't understand how such a beautiful, independent woman could be alone. Then she met Royal and a romance began. I even had the pleasure of meeting him at a military ball. She radiated happiness and peace. Royal, you made her happy. I was elated for her and even though I had to move away I watched from afar that beautiful love that blossomed. The wedding and your love for each other.  Then I find out that you might be leaving us early. I prayed and hopped you'd survive. We never know our time. We all go one day and it is so sad. I do thank you for bringing such Joy to my friend. It's sad to leave a loved one or to be left by one, but it's even sadder to never have experienced true love.  You both got that chance experience a love many miss in  this lifetime. You found each other and I am satisfied with that.

It is difficult to accept that you are no longer by my side, but I find comfort knowing that you are in the kingdom of God and no longer in pain.  I miss your beautiful heart, your beautiful eyes and the way you would look at me.  I miss your beautiful spirit and holding your hand praying and even while we slept.  I know you are watching over me and loving me the way you always did.  Zeus and Zelda miss their Daddy.  I love you, Royal.  Rest in peace, my love, until we are together again.

Then the peace of God which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Royal, Heaven now has another beautiful soul. In the few times I saw Royal he always had a cheerful smile and big bright eyes.Someone that seemed so positive...no matter what !
