Ruben Garcia

Ruben is survived by his devoted wife, Josie Garcia; his son, Eric Garcia (Nicole); and his daughter, Ruby Hernandez. He also leaves behind his brother, Rodolfo Garcia (Elaine).

He was a proud and loving grandfather to Aulani Hernandez, Aubree Gomez, Aundre Gomez, Jayden Garcia, Ayleen Garcia (Angel), Anissa Garcia (Ramon), and Landon. Ruben was also blessed with a great-grandchild, Emilio, who brought him great joy.

He is further survived by his cherished nephews and nieces: Bianca Garcia, Rudy Jr., Oscar Jr., and Jenny Bueno (Jesús), along with many great-nephews, great-nieces, and numerous extended family members and loved ones.

Ruben was preceded in death by his parents, Isidro and Alicia Garcia, and his brother, Oscar Garcia.

Ruben’s legacy of love, dedication to family, and warm spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A visitation will be held at Hillcrest Funeral Home, located at 1060 North Carolina Drive, El Paso, TX 79915, on February 25, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Rosary Service will also take place at the same venue on February 25, 2026, at 6:00 pm.

The Funeral Mass is scheduled for February 26, 2026, at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, 8600 Winchester Rd, El Paso, TX 79907.

The Graveside Service will follow at Mt Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, TX 79907, on February 26, 2026, at 11:30 am.
