

Ruben M. Juarez, 44, passed away Wednesday afternoon, December 5, 2012, in Dallas, Texas, following a courageous battle while awaiting a liver transplant. He was born in El Paso, Texas, February 3, 1968. Ruben was a graduate of UTEP and worked as an elementary school teacher for many years with EPISD. He was voted teacher of the year for the 2003-2004 school year. His final assignment was at Crosby Elementary School. He loved vacationing with his family and especially enjoyed Disneyland and the California beach, and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Ramon C. Juarez and Emma M. Juarez. He is survived by his devoted wife of 14 years, the former Ramona Esquivel, his sons Ruben and Ramon Juarez, siblings Rosa Miramontes, Ramon Juarez, Oscar Juarez, Gracie Morales, Raul Juarez, Sylvia Guzman, Sandie Reyes, and their spouses, as well as multiple nephews, nieces, cousins, in-laws, and countless friends. A Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 9, 2012 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with Rosary at 7:00 PM at Harding-Orr & McDaniel Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 10, 2012 at
10:30 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 5750 Doniphan. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Those we have held in our arms for a little while, we hold in our hearts forever.
