Ruben Martinez, SR., passed away on February 10, 2021, at the age of 93. He was a long time resident of El Paso, Tx, Originally from Canatlan de Las Manzanas, Durango, Mexico.

He is preceded in death by his wife Maria Guadalupe Garcia de Martinez, and his two sons: Robeto Avelino Martinez and Arturo Martinez.

He is survived by daughters: Juanita (spouse Tony Lopez); Josefina Martinez; Lupe (spouse Paul Raisch); and Irene Martinez, and his sons: Ruben Martinez Jr.; Manny (spouse Patsy Martinez); and Raul (spouse Mary Martinez); 20 Grand Children and 10 Great Grand Children.

He worked very diligently as a Banquet Captain for over 50 years at the Hilton Inn, El Paso, Tx.

Our father was a loving, respectful and caring person and he will be profoundly missed by all of us.
