Remembering my dear friend Russ today. Each June 25th. and September 19th, he  is remembered with love. Russ was a quiet man but he was truly a valued friend. 
Russ would tell about his experiences of sky diving and how much he enjoyed jumping with his friends.  He would explain a few of his good experiences in the military but never shared any bad memories.  
Each week I would cook a large meal of baked chicken and sides or a casserole and I would take Russ and other friends big plates or everyone would come to my house.  We always celebrated birthdays and all holidays together as friends.
I had a run a way dog that would get out of the house and I always called Russ to help get the little pup back. More fun memories. 
Many, many dear memories of our little group. 
Rest in peace dear friend, you are always remembered.
