RUTH EVELYN BASS passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at the age of 92. She retired from the El Paso Natural Gas Company. She was preceded in death by her husband Lionel Bass. She is survived by her son Joel Lionel Bass and his wife Jenny, her brother Fred L. Meck, niece Joyce Warburton, nephews Dennis and Bruce Meck. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 from 11:00AM to 12:00PM, with a Funeral Service to follow at 12:00PM at Harding-Orr & McDaniel Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Tina Cross. Interment will follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery at 1:30PM. Services entrusted to Harding-Orr & McDaniel Funeral Home, 320 Montana Ave. El Paso, TX 79902.
