A man of God with a heart of gold, Salvador De Leon, age 55, was born in El Paso, Texas on September 21, 1971. He was a dedicated respiratory therapist with a depth of knowledge and clinical skill respected by his colleagues and the medical field.
He was a free spirit who brought joy into every room. Wherever he went, the moment quickly became a party—he loved to sing, dance, laugh, fish, run, travel, stay fit, go snowboarding, ride his motorcycle, and cheer on his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers. But Salvador also lived his life helping others and never expecting anything in return
Above all, Salvador was a loving husband to Angelica De Leon and a devoted father to his four children: Christian, Jesus, Johnny, and Adela. His family was his greatest pride. As a father, he was proud, stern, loving, and steadfast, teaching his children to work hard, take responsibility, stand on their own feet, and care for their family. He was son to Armando and Maria De Leon, and beloved brother to his siblings who loved him very much.
Salvador’s life was anchored in faith. Though he knew he was not perfect, he never gave up on his relationship with God or stopped getting back up after life’s struggles. He embodied Proverbs 24:16: "For a righteous man may fall seven times, and rise again." He kept moving forward, kept serving, and kept believing all his life.
Salvador De Leon leaves behind a legacy of faith, pride, and deep love for his family and friends.
His absence leaves a space that can never truly be filled. Yet his laughter, lessons, stories, faith, and love will endure. May Salvador find peace in the arms of his Creator.
