Samuel Garcia Sr., 96 passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2021. He was a longtime resident of El Paso and a member of the Catholic Church. Samuel was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Marina Garcia, son Samuel Garcia Jr, and sister Elvira Duron.
He is survived by two brothers, his daughters Rosa Isela Garcia, Evangelina Ramos (Edmundo), and daughter in law Elsa Garcia. Grandchildren; Samuel Garcia III (Veronica), Monica Garcia, Adrian Madrid, Carolina Esquivel (Daniel), Clarissa Martinez, Jesus Martinez Jr. (Jenae), Amanda Martinez, and Ismael Martinez. Great grandchildren; Victoria, Nicholas, Santiago, Benjamin Garcia, Sebastian Madrid, and Averie Martinez.
Visitation for Samuel will be held on Monday, May 24, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm with a vigil at 4:00 pm at Hillcrest Funeral Home – Carolina. Funeral mass will be Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church at 9:15 am with interment to follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with military honors.
