Sandra Alicia Schneider was born on September 24, 1962. On March 25, 2024, at the age of 61, Sandra was called home by our Heavenly Father. In 1980, Sandra graduated from Ysleta High School. In 1982, she met her husband while working in the First National Building in Downtown El Paso, and they married on August 13,1983. After raising her family, she re-entered the workforce in 1997 working in the medical field - most often as a financial coordinator for private practices. She was, foremost, a devoted Wife, Mom, and Nana. Her love extended beyond her immediate family, and she held numerous titles and a special place in the hearts of those who knew her. She was a lighthouse in the storm and undoubtedly the strongest woman most of us knew. With a heart of gold, she was always there to lend a helping hand, a shoulder to cry on, or an ear to listen. A lifetime scholar, Sandra loved to learn, read, or create and, just like her father, had a love of sweets. You could often find her watching classic movies, listening/ dancing to music, and she was always dressed to the nines.
Sandra, born the first of three children, is preceded in death by her father Leonardo Pacheco Jr. She is survived by her husband, Mark D Schneider, her children Amanda Agapito (Carlo), Marcus Schneider, Sara Schneider, and Mariah Schneider (John Tafoya), her grandchildren Aaron, Jozelyn, and Gwendolyn Bellman and Kailey Tafoya. She is also survived by her mother, Maria Eugenia Pacheco, and brothers Hector Pacheco (Irene Lozano) and Martin Pacheco.
Lord, though we are in pain, we rejoice in knowing our Wife, Mom, and Nana has now gone home to rest with You. We ask that you provide us with a constant reminder of her unwavering love and keep her with us. Please help us to remember all the guidance she provided and to never forget all the memories that are now so precious. May she be kept safe in Your Kingdom. We ask this in Your name. Amen.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Hillcrest Funeral Home - Carolina with a rosary at 7:00 pm.
