A person full of life and who loved the thrill of adventure. From a young age Sanjay has always been an adventurous, happy boy. Whose smile lit up every room he entered. His fun personality made everyone laugh, every time he was present there were smiles and laughter. He truly knew the gateway into everybody's heart. When he was young he wanted to become a train driver and travel all through the United States just like his dad did. One of his goals was to have lots of money for nice things and for donating. Sanjay was fascinated with all animals, and hated seeing them being mistreated or dead. He loved snakes, and always dreamed of having one. Sanjay has always loved building legos, and would spend his nights building his christmas and birthday gifts instead of sleeping. He loved being outdoors anytime he could. He loved hiking mountains big or small. He was there and ready. He loved capturing every sight he saw and making memories with the ones he loved. Every place we visited Sanjay had to collect a rock, he had a huge rock collection. Nunca faltaba un hombre en la casa, él era el Sultán. Sanjay loved traveling to national parks; he went to Sequoia, Yosemite, YellowStone, Redwood, Death Valley, Kings Canyon, The Grand Canyon, Petrified Forest, White Sands, and Carlsbad Caverns. Not only that but when he went on deployment he visited Oslo Norway, Greece, France and spent his time in the Red Sea where they had some challenges but came home safely. Sanjay was fearless, he loved trying new things and had no regrets. He would climb mountains not following the trail, and would put himself in situations others wouldn't do. With every new thing Sanjay tried, not once did he ever say “I regret it.” When he arrived from deployment all he wanted to do was eat moms green enchiladas, mole, tamales, and more. Sanjay loved to eat everything no food went to waste around him. Although maybe not at first sight Sanjay was a party animal, he loved going out with friends and doing the craziest things they could do. Not once did he miss out on the opportunity to go out with them. Sanjay fue un niño travieso aunque a veces se metía en problemas el asia todo. Sanjay loved his bike and left this world doing what he loved. Sanjay lived every moment to the fullest. He loved deeply, laughed loudly, and left memories that will stay with us forever. Though his journey here was far too short, he experienced more life, love, and adventure than many do in a lifetime. We will carry his smile, his fearless spirit, and his love for life with us always. Descansa en paz, nuestro Sultán. Forever loved, forever missed.
