Sarah Inez Cherry

Sarah Inez Cherry was born on April 22, 1933 in Jackson, North Carolina to Joe Lee Ramsey and Anne Tesse Gaye. On April 15th, 2015 Sarah passed away peacefully in El Paso, Texas. In 1962 Inez married Carl Cherry and to this union one child was born. Her love for antiques had her at one time working for an exclusive antique shop in New York City. Inez had the gift of mercy which made her a wonderful private duty nurse. She worked at various nursing homes in New Jersey. In 1981 Inez along with Carl opened Nez Janitorial Service. A successful service that lasted for 20 years. Inez loved life and lived it to the fullest. Her reputation for being outspoken is matched only by her love for those she called family and close friends. Her hospitality is legendary to those that have experienced her well attended Sunday brunches in her home of which she was very proud. To cherish the memories of her vibrant life and personality, Inez leaves her son Carl H. Cherry II, daughter in law Denise L. Cherry, grandson John Carl Cherry, brother John Cherry, sister Jenny Cherry-Woode and many nieces, nephews, cousins and church family. Funeral Service: 12:30 pm Friday, May 1, 2015 at First Armor Division Chapel, 11272 Biggs Field. Interment: Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
