It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Sergio Leos on May 13, 2023. Born on September 8, 1953, Sergio lived a full life of love in service to his community. A quiet and private man of few words, Sergio's greatest accomplishments included being a Plumbing Contractor, Master Plumber, and an active member of AA, where he helped many people overcome their struggles.
Sergio is survived by his four loving daughters, Beatriz Magana (Aldo Magana), Ana Smith, Erika Leos, and Cristina Leos, and their mother, Bertha Leos. He is also survived by his sister, Irma Salom (Mike Salom †), and brothers Aurelio Leos and Javier Leos (Martha Leos). As a proud grandfather, Sergio is also survived by his grandchildren Summer Heady (Caleb Heady), Nathaniel Magana (Bianca Magana), Jonathan Smith, Matthew Smith, Gilbert Romero, and David Romero.
He was preceded in death by his father Aurelio Leos, mother Soledad Leos, sister Beatriz Leos, and brothers Jose Isaac Leos and Miguel Salcedo (Fidelina Salcedo). His grandson Michael Smith also passed before him, leaving a void in the hearts of the family.
A Memorial service for Sergio will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 12:00PM at Funeraria Del Angel Restlawn, 8817 Dyer St. The Word of God will be shared and an invitation to anyone who would like to share a few words afterwards. We invite all who knew and loved Sergio to come together and pay their respects, honoring the life of a man who will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Es con profundo pesar que anunciamos el fallecimiento de Sergio Leos, el 13 de Mayo, 2023. Nacido el 8 de Septiembre de 1953, Sergio vivió una vida llena de amor al servicio a su comunidad. Un hombre tranquilo, reservado, y de pocas palabras, los mayores logros de Sergio incluyeron ser un Contratista de plomeria, Maestro fontanero, y un miembro activo de AA, en donde ayudó a muchas personas a superar sus luchas.
A Sergio le sobreviven sus cuatro hijas queridas, Beatriz Magana (Aldo Magana), Ana Smith, Erika Leos, y Cristina Leos, y la madre de ellas, Bertha Leos. También le sobrevive su hermana, Irma Salom (Mike Salom †), y hermanos Aurelio Leos y Javier Leos (Martha Leos). Como abuelo orgulloso, a Sergio también le sobreviven sus nietos. Summer Heady (Caleb Heady), Nathaniel Magana (Bianca Magana), Jonathan Smith, Matthew Smith, Gilbert Romero, y David Romero.
Fallecidos antes fueron su padre, Aurelio Leos, su madre, Soledad Leos, su hermana Beatriz Leos y sus hermanos José Isaac Leos y Miguel Salcedo (Fidelina Salcedo). Su nieto, Michael Smith también falleció antes que él, dejando un vacío en los corazones de la familia.
Un servicio conmemorativo para Sergio se llevará a cabo el 27 de Mayo de 2023, de 9:00 a.m. a 12:00 p.m. en La Funeraria Del Angel Restlawn, 8817 Dyer St. La palabra de Dios sera compartida, y despues invitamos a todo el que quiera dar unas palabras. Invitamos a todos los que conocieron y amaron a Sergio a unirse y presentar sus respetos, honrando la vida de un hombre que será muy extrañado por su familia y amigos.
