Socorro Reyes Reyes de Gonzalez

“I am the resurrection and the life, whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die” John 11, 25-26.

Our beloved mother, sister, aunt, friend and devoted catholic Socorro R. Gonzalez, 78, reunited with our Lord Jesus Christ, this Monday, June 11, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband Jesus M. Gonzalez, her parents Albino and Mariana Reyes, her brothers Buenaventura and Albino Reyes and sister Ana R. Escarcega. She is survived by her daughter Angelica “Angie” Gonzalez, brothers Rodolfo and Armando Reyes and sisters Antonia Rodriguez and Margarita Zubiate. Also left to cherish her memory are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Socorrito will be especially remembered for being a member of Congregacion Mariana – Comite de Damas de Maria Inmaculada in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua.

Visitation: Thursday, June 14, 2012 from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home West. Funeral Mass: Friday, June 15, 2012 at 11:30 am at St. Patrick's Cathedral. In addition to family and friends, the family wishes to thank Dr. Alfonso Chavez and Global Hospice of El Paso for their help and support.
