Socorro Seguro Rodela, 94, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2026 in El Paso. Resident of El Paso and member of St Pius X Catholic Church. She was retired from J.C. Penny. She was a lifelong loyal Bowie Bear, graduate of Class of 1951.
Mrs. Rodela was preceded in death by her husband Gene B. Rodela, 2 daughters, Lupe Eck & Becky Rodela, granddaughter Mandy Gomez. She is survived by her son Gene Rodela Jr (Wanda), daughters Mona Suppa (John), sister Terri Rodela, OSF, Angie Chavez (Javier), Kristina McPhail (Dale), Melissa Dominguez (Roger), 18 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren. Many nephews & nieces.

Visitation will be held at Martin Funeral Home East, 1460 George Dieter Drive, El Paso, TX 79936, US, on October 8, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a Vigil on October 8, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 6:45 pm.
A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Pius X Church, 1050 N Clark Dr, El Paso, Tx 79905, on October 9, 2026, from 9:30 am to 10:15 am, followed by a Committal Service at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79906, US, on October 9, 2026, from 11:00 am to 11:30 am.
