Stanley Francis Lindsey, 68 was born June 19, 1947, and passed peacefully on Saturday, May 21, 2016. He was survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Frances Mary and mother: Uvon. A beloved father of Peter, his wife: Carole, Jeff, and his wife: Christina, and was a proud grandfather of Steven, and Matthew. Stanley was preceded by his father: Richard F.; and brother Doug Lindsey. He graduated from Irvin High school in 1965, served in the U.S. Army, and retired from Safeway-Furr's after 48 years. Stan will be fondly remembered as a loving Husband, Father, Veteran and Dear Friend. Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home with a vigil at 7 pm. Funeral Mass at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Valley with Interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 N. Carolina, 598-3332.
