

Sylvia Dolores “Lola” Briseno, Loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend was welcomed into the Lord’s arms on September 2nd, 2024. Sylvia was born on March 12 1956 in El Paso, Texas to Virginia B.Valdiviezo.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ernesto Briseño and loving father Roberto N. Valdiviezo. Sylvia is survived by her mother Virginia B. Valdiviezo, Brothers Roberto N. Valdiviezo, Leonso A. Valdiviezo, Sister, Helen R. Edgcomb, Brother-in-law, Thomas Edgcomb, Son, Angel Christopher Flores, Daughter-in-law, Ariana Flores, Daughter, Michelle Crystal Hernandez, Son-in-law Corey Hernandez, 7 grandchildren Sunshine, Anthony (Arleth), Alizey, Byianca, Camila, Briella, one great grandchild Aziel, nieces, and nephews who will Love, honor, and treasure her memory.
Sylvia started her professional journey at career centers of El Paso Texas. She also went to school in Houston and came back to her hometown, El Paso to dedicate 10 years of nursing in different hospitals and retired due to health complications from Columbia Rehabilitation Hospital.
She would say her greatest accomplishment was her children, grandchildren, and family. She loved with all her heart unconditionally. She encouraged, supported, protected, and loved her family and friends. She taught us so much throughout our lives, she was a joy to be with. She loved to laugh, she was a very strong woman, her love and strength will always be admired.
Her smile, laughter, and hugs will be missed, she will always and forever be in our hearts and her memory will live on and be cherished forever. We love you, beautiful Mama, Sylvia D. Briseno.
Gathering of remembrance will be from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM with rosary at 7:00 PM on Friday, September 13, 2024 at Funeraria del Angel Restlawn, 8817 Dyer Street, El Paso, Texas 79904.
