Theodore "Ted" Ira McKee III

Theodore Ira McKee III (Ted), (1947-2026), born in St. Charles, Ill, grew up in Orange County CA, was a long time resident of El Paso Texas, and lived currently in The Villages Fl., passed away after battling aggressive cancer. Ted served honorably in the US Army as a military police officer and was a veteran of the Vietnam war. In his career, he worked as a professional sales representative for several years in California and El Paso and was honored with several awards for best salesperson of the year from Penske truck leasing company. He also built a successful furniture manufacturing company in El Paso which employed over 50 employees and sold furniture all over the Southwest. Ted loved all sports, especially golf, and he truly enjoyed teeing it up with his friends on different golf courses in El Paso and Florida.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ted McKee Jr. and Mary Martha McKee, and his sister Martha Muelrath. He is survived by his wife Gloria McKee, his daughter, Melissa Fleckenstein, his son, Jason Rutkowsky, and his sister, Lisa Cline.

Visitation will be at the Martin Funeral Home west on Resler Ave. from 10 am to 1pm on Tuesday, 11/3. At Martin Funeral Home West, followed by interment at Fort Bliss National Cemetery at

2:00 pm.
