Theresa Zuloaga Paredes a beloved mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend. Passed away on August 17, 2026 and joined in Gods hands with her mother Margie McKinley Zuloaga, her father Oscar Zuloaga Sr., brother Oscar Zuloaga Jr. and brother-in-law’s Manuel Acevedo III and Victor Hernandez.
She was born on February 25, 1971 in El Paso, TX. Theresa is survived by her daughters and son Marilyn “Mazi” Benecke, Jori Zuloaga and Toas James “TJ” Zuloaga; Sisters Elizabeth Zuloaga, Sylvia Hernandez, Susan Acevedo and Maria Zuloaga-Folks.
Theresa was an intelligent and ambitious individual. She wanted better for herself, and went back to school at Liberty University to obtain a bachelor’s in Criminal Justice where she then became a parole officer for the state of Texas. During her retirement she dedicated her time with family and doing arts and crafts. Theresa had an amazing imagination where she can turn a random object into a beautiful creative masterpiece. With her artistic skills, she made the world more colorful.
