Tony Castanon

Tony Castañon passed away Saturday, July 5, 2025 at the age of 72. He follows his parents Pedro & Elena Castañon as well as his sister Terri Sandoval. He was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. Tony was a hardworking single father that leaves behind his two daughters, Leslie C Flores (Leo Flores) and Desiree' Orona (Ivan F. Orona). Grandchildren Caleb Flores, Tony Castanon, Ariel Flores, Kyra Orona, 3 Step-Grandsons Jovan, Abran, Estevan Flores and 3 great-grandkids. His siblings Lourdes - Nick (Belinda), Pedro III (Rita), Luis (Margie), Carlos (Imelda), Jerry (Anna), Felix (Norma), David, Mario (Maribel) Castañon, Estella Amaya (Raul), Berta Sano (Martin), Lola Portillo (Frank), Sukie Medina (Kenneth), Sally Gutierrez.

Tony was a devoted Catholic and took pride in being a part of the volunteer team for Cristo Rey. He loved spending time with family, friends, dancing, and cheering the Dallas Cowboys (win or lose). He was the life of the party (everyone knew the party didn't start until T.C. showed up). Tony was not afraid of getting his hands dirty on projects for family or friends. He always saw the positive in life and enjoyed every moment. Tony was deeply loved and will be missed so much by everyone.

San Antonio Church 503 Hunter Dr El Paso, TX 79915 Mass will be held on Friday July 18, 2025 at 9 am
