Vaughn Reid Groce, 60 of El Paso, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 29, 2012. He was born March 31, 1951 in Lewisville, Arkansas to William Reid and Byrdie Charlene (Walston) Groce. He was a member of Del Sol Church. He worked in the gas and petroleum industry and made El Paso his home for twenty-one years.
Survivors include his wife, Connie; one brother, Vance (Cindy) of Greenbrier, Arkansas; two sons, Johnathan (Melody) of Melissa, Texas, Marcus (Ronda) of Texarkana, Arkansas; one daughter, Rachel (Jonathan) Saatkamp of Texarkana, Texas; one step-daughter, Liza (Ricardo) Compean of Gilbert, Arizona, and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Martin East with burial at Evergreen East Cemetery with Rev. Walter Mueller officiating.
A memorial service will be held at Trinity Baptist Church in Stamps, Arkansas on Saturday, February 11th, at 2:00 p.m.
