Vernon Eugene Boyd

Vernon married Kathrine Sherwood Boyd on May 16, 1959. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, daughter, Dee Anne Boyd, of El Paso; and son David Boyd (Teresa) of Albuquerque, New Mexico; sisters-in-law Kathleen Sherwood Perry (Frank) of Sun City West, Arizona, and Alice Jean Mann, of Las Cruces, New Mexico, nephews, Scott Mann of San Jose, California, Chad Perry of Pepperell, MA; niece, Kim Perry Conway (Rick) of Portland, Maine. He is also survived by brother, Buford (Betty), of South Pittsburg, Tennessee; nieces Sharon Boyd, Linette Boyd Everett (Charlie) of South Pittsburg, Tennessee. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Lucille and Oscar Boyd, as well as brothers Harold Dean and Donald Boyd.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Crestview Funeral Home, 1462 N. Zaragosa Road. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Evergreen East Cemetery, 12400 Montana Avenue.
