Virginia Honea

Our beloved Virginia Frances Honea passed away to go live with our Heavenly Father after 95 years on this earth. She entered eternal rest on November 14, 2025. She was born on May 26, 1930, in La Luz, New Mexico. Virginia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.

Virginia had a deep love for her family and devoted her life to caring for those she loved. She cherished her family and the many memories they shared throughout the years.

She is survived by her sister, Betty Olson; brothers, Melvin and Joe Elkins; stepdaughter, Carol Bella; stepson, Tom Honea; daughter-in-law, Su Honea; seven grandchildren, LeShel, Celeste, Micah, Jon, Jessica, Tom, and Carli; fifteen great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herschel Honea; her parents, Andrew and Viola Elkins; her son, David Honea; her daughter, Jennye Hannah; and her sister, Billy Lucke.

Graveside services will be held on February 9, 2026, at Fort Bliss, TX, at 9:00 a.m. for family. The memorial service will be held on February 9, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at the Eastwood Church of Christ in El Paso, TX. All friends and family are welcome.
