William McDonald

William “Bill” McDonald, 95, beloved father and husband, passed away on February 8, 2023. He was a lifelong resident of El Paso, Texas. After completing military service in the US Army, William attended Texas Western College (now University of Texas at El Paso) where he graduated with Bachelors of Business Administration: Accounting, Minor in Economics. He was a member of the International Fraternity of Delta Sigma Pi. William had a long and esteemed career as a bank executive. He was a member and served as a second VP in the Five Points Lions Club until the time of his retirement. William was a lifelong learner, and could often be found reading, solving different types of problems or fixing items around the house. His hobbies included golf, karate and bicycling. He loved the outdoors, and enjoyed gardening, camping and fishing. William is survived and missed by his wife Betty, his daughters Allison and husband Denney, and Whitneye and husband Jason. In a celebration of William McDonald, the family will be holding a private ceremony per his wishes.
