William Thomas Spinks

William Thomas/Tommy Spinks was born 08/30/50 and passed on 12/01/21. Tommy was a lifelong El Pasoan, graduating from Austin High School in 1968. Tommy began his service with El Paso Police Department in 1974, attaining the rank of sergeant, and retiring in July 1999. He then worked for the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office as a crime analyst for 12 years, retiring in 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents, William B. and Virginia Spinks, his sister Anne Goff, brother Mike and nephew Michael. Tommy is survived by his wife Patricia Montgomery, daughter Candice Hummell (Shane), grandchildren Tyler, Kaden, Tegan, Kyrcen (Shaughnesse), and Talyn. And his great-grandson Finley. Services will be held Saturday, December 18, at 2:00 PM at the Church of St Clement. Donations may be made to the Child Crisis Center of El Paso.
