Dr. William M. Tubbs

Dr. William M. Tubbs went to be with the Lord on June 27, 2011. He lived a full, blessed life to the age of 95. Originally from Lubbock, TX, Dr. Tubbs graduated from Baylor Medical School and volunteered to serve in the U.S. Army during WWII. He completed his tour as a LTC, stationed in Rheims, France. He was a member of the El Paso Medical Society and Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Dr. Tubbs is preceded in death by wife Ethelmarie Tubbs and son, Charles. He was married for 27 years to and survived by his wife, Terri, children Kenneth, Guy, Marc, Aaron, Linda, Colleen, Kristen, Marie, and Sarah, 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Rosary will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 7:30 PM, Visitation will follow from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, July 1, 2011at 10:00 A.M. at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 1551 Belvidere. Father Trini Fuentez will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society, 6850 Third St. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of the Valley Cemetery, 4900 McNutt Rd.
