Bill was a wonderful husband, father and family man. He was loved by and loved his family deeply.
Born in Los Alamos, New Mexico he traveled the US and Germany as a child of a proud US Army family and served in the Army as well. He was an avid fan of all sports and was a great fly fisherman and had his own business building fly rods and specialty flies: the Desert Angler.
Bill was a proud alumnus of Clemson University and later an elder in the Presbyterian church.
Retired from Black’s Nursery and Lowe’s Home Improvement center. While with Black’s Nursery, Bill had proudly contributed to many beautiful landscaped business and spaces across El Paso.
Always ready and willing to make a joke, we hope those who knew him can recall a time he made them smile or laugh. He’d like that.
Services will be held on Thursday July 30 at 11:00a at First Presbyterian Church, 1340 Murchison.
