Zoe was the wife of Harold R. Kenemore for 68 years, eight months, and four days who preceded her in death on April 22nd, 2008. Memorial Services will be held at 2pm on January 29th, 2022, at Restlawn Funeral Home in El Paso, Texas.
Zoe was preceded in death by her parents; her sister - Loraine (Kinchloe) Diamond/Brown; one daughter, Laura Zoe Kenemore, and two granddaughters, Aarika and Kaylee Kenemore.
She was valedictorian of her class in Sedan, NM, before moving to Plainview, Texas to study in pursuit of her nursing career, where she received her nursing degree. She supported Harold's military career as a loving wife for twenty years. After military life, she attained her Texas Special Education Educator after graduating from West Texas State University in 1980. After achieving her degree, she practiced her chosen profession at both Sunray and Dumas Independent School Districts until retiring from the education profession. She served as the Secretary/Treasurer for Battery Concepts International from 1999 until her death.
The family requests that any memorials or donations offered to be made to the local Eastern Star Chapter, the Shriners' Hospital, the American Heart Association, or the American Lung Association.
Survivors include four children, Jim, Lorna Murphy, John, and Joe; son-in-law, Ken Murphy; daughters-in-law, Yolanda and Anisa; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Surviving siblings through marriage include Billie Kenemore, Mary Joyce Robertson, Lillie Koehler, Patricia Ann Ballard, Norma Nadine Akers, Wynell Kenemore, and a multitude of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great nephews.
