

David “Danne” Cranor, 59, of Coupland, Texas, passed away on May 13, 2026, in Paige, Texas. Danne was born in Wichita, Kansas, and was known throughout his life for his hard-working nature, unwavering loyalty, and fierce love for his family and friends.
Born on March 11, 1967, Danne was the son of Toni Annette Ehrhardt and David Edward Cranor. He married the love of his life, Carrie Lynne Daniel, on June 30, 2017. Danne was a businessman, rancher, entrepreneur, and inventor whose passion for building and creating defined much of his life. He attended Round Rock High School, where he was active in ROTC and excelled in athletics as a starting first-string football player during his junior and senior years, earning Honorable Mention All-District honors. He attended Stephen F. Austin State University, where he played football during his first year of college, and later attended The University of Texas at Austin, completing over 200 hours of coursework while also participating on the university lacrosse team.
Danne is survived by his beloved wife, Carrie Lynne Cranor; his father and stepmother, David and LeeDonna Cranor; his children, Thayer Cranor, Hyacinthe Cranor, Laeliansja Cranor and fiancé Daniel Brady, Izabella Cranor, and Hesston Cranor; his stepdaughters, Abigail Foos and fiancé Mason Nichols, and Rebekah Foos. He is also survived by his siblings, Michael Cranor and wife Thelma, Nicki Welch and fiancé Bernard Munsch, Angela Dial and husband Ryan, and Debra Wright and fiancé Ricci Tucker; along with many beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and close friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Danne was preceded in death by his mother, Toni Annette Ehrhardt; his paternal grandparents, Forrest and Nellie Cranor; his maternal grandparents, Herschel Woolery and Myrtle Dannels Woolery; and his maternal grandfather, Gene Farmer.
Visitation will be held on May 20, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home in Elgin, Texas. Funeral services will take place at First Baptist Church Elgin in Elgin, Texas on May 21, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
