She had a special love for springtime in Texas, when the bluebonnets covered the fields and reminded her of the beauty of home. She was also a diehard Longhorn fan, proudly cheering on her team through every season.
Irene was preceded in death by: her husband Wayne Alexander, mother Nellie and father Henry Foy Conn, brothers Jerry, Jack, Thomas, and Raymond, sisters Lucy, Mary, and Connie, her beloved grandson Kenneth Copeland.
Irene is survived by: her daughter Amanda Alexander and fiancé James, her grandchildren Michael Alexander, Laura Waller and husband Kevin, Jerry (JD) Copeland and fiancé Vanessa, her great grandkids Brently, Braxan, Nevaeh, Hayden, and Kevin Jr. (KJ) and countless nieces and nephews.
Her family will forever carry her love in their hearts and remember her for the warmth, laughter, and unwavering love she gave so freely. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who were blessed to know her.
