Stanley Warren Ging

Stanley Ging, a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2026. Born on the 4th of July in 1965, Stanley's life began in the town of Taylor where he was the son of David and Lena Ging. He was predeceased by his father, David, and his brother, Alan. After his father passed away, Stanley spent many Sundays visiting his beloved mother, going to lunch together at their favorite bbq place, all the while enjoying each other’s company.

Stanley's life was one filled with love, dedication, and service. He was a proud graduate of Elgin High School, class of 1983, and furthered his education at TSTI in Waco, where he trained as a diesel mechanic. This foundation paved the way for his lifelong career. Stanley spent many years as a skilled diesel mechanic before transitioning to a machine mechanic, dedicating his expertise to the team at Coreslab for the latter part of his professional journey. His colleagues and friends will remember him for his unwavering work ethic and his remarkable ability to solve any problem with patience and precision.

In the summer of 1989, Stanley married the love of his life, Suzette. Their union was a testament to enduring love and partnership, marking 37 wonderful years together. Stanley was a devoted father to his two daughters, Brittany and Chelsea, whom he cherished and adored. His family was his pride and joy, and he took immense pleasure in supporting and celebrating their achievements.

Stanley's gentle spirit and kind heart were a source of strength and comfort to those around him. He shared an unbreakable bond with his sister, Janice Ging, her two sons, Kiefer and Zac along with his wife Laura and their boys, Kyngdon, Everett, Coleman and Wesley, and his sister-in-law, Tammy Major, who was married to his late brother, Alan. He also had two sisters from Suzette’s side, Tammy and her husband Joel and their two daughters Athena and Patty, and his sister in law Lori. Two brothers in law, Michael and his children, Emily, Michael and Nicholas, and Mark, along with his wife Andi and their son Sullivan. The love and support within his family extended to all who knew him, creating a close-knit circle that will dearly miss his presence. Stanley had many friends.

Stanley lived a life of quiet generosity and selflessness, always considering the needs of others before his own. In honor of his memory, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, as a tribute to Stanley's compassionate spirit and his desire to help others.

As we say goodbye to Stanley, we remember him not only for his talents and achievements but for the warmth and kindness he showed to everyone he met. His legacy will continue to inspire those who knew and loved him, and his memory will forever remain in our hearts.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at 229 Pleasant Grove Loop, Elgin, TX 78621, on August 23, 2026, beginning at 9:00 am.
