Yeni Fernanda Estrada Calzada, 32, a beloved daughter, sister, and tia, passed away on July 20th, 2026. Born on March 23rd 1994, in a small village in Mexico to Maria and Armando, Yeni's life had always been a testament to love, laughter, and dedication.
Yeni was fiercely loyal to her family, and she showed this in every capacity in her life such as holding on to sentimental, meaningful things no matter how seemingly small, being generous with her time, and supporting her siblings as a trusted confidant and “take-out connoisseur.” She was also a loving Tia to Gabriela “Gabby,” Gerald, Namé, Hana, Gabriel “Gabe,” Noel, and Ricardo Jr , and contributed to their growth as a fair, firm, and selfless mentor. Yeni’s creativity was shown in her passion for crafting beautiful arrangements like bouquet of roses, apparel designs, and enriching the festivities with her family.
Yeni will live on through Armando, Maria, and her siblings: Carmen “Came,” Gerardo “Gera” and his wife, Marie, Oscar, Ricardo “Rica,” and Miguel and her loss is deeply felt. The family aims to honor her passing by seeing the world and having her live on through them.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 302 W 11th St, Elgin, TX 78621, US, on July 31, 2026, from 11:00 am to 11:45 am.
A Committal Service will be held at Youngs Prairie Rd, 142 Youngs Prairie Rd, Elgin, TX 78621, US, on July 31, 2026, from 12:15 pm to 12:30 pm.
