Ada Avery

Ada graduated from Cub Run High School in 1956. She later taught at Lincoln Trail Elementary School, followed by G.C. Burkhead and Hardin Central Junior High School, and continued her education at the central office. Ada graduated from Western Kentucky University in 1960. She was a dedicated member of Severns Valley Baptist Church.

Ada was married to the late James F. Avery. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kermit and Lenora Waddell, and her son, K.C. Avery, her brothers, Kermitt Wendell Waddell and Mitchell Waddell, and her sisters, Carolyn Johnston and Marilyn Johnston. She is survived by her son, Scott Avery.

Ada Avery will be remembered for her unwavering devotion and faithfulness to her family and community.

Services will be held at Brown Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 17th with visitation starting at 10 AM continuing until time of service at 2 PM. Burial will follow at Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
