She was born to the late George and Marie Perkins Bloyd in Greensburg, Kentucky. Adena was a long time pianist for the United Methodist Church in Springfield for over 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Richardson; her parents; and one son, Mark Richardson.
Survivors include one son, Mike (Michelle) Richardson; one sister, Ruth (Roland) Dixon; daughter-in-law, Lisa Richardson and three grandchildren, Matthew Richardson, Christopher Prather, and Elizabeth Prather.
A private graveside service will be held at Hardin Memorial Park in Elizabethtown.
